Pro Training Camps:
There will be no Pro Training Camp in 2008.
We are taking requests for Pro Training and incorporate those athletes into an Elite program that we are doing in connection with SportsLink and Football University at sites around the country.
Please call our office at 703-200-8756 for additional information to be sent to you.
Thanks for your interest.

The 4th Down Sports Pro Training program is designed for three types of
athletes, punters, kickers, and snappers.
 |
It is
for the college athlete who has completed their eligibility
and desires to prepare for a potential pro football career. |
 |
It
is for the free agent athlete who wants to improve their chances
to make a pro football team. |
4th Down Sports is looking for those athletes who have a passionate commitment and a relentless attitude to pursue the perfecting of the punting and kicking skills for the professional level. The Pro Training Camp will improve your mechanics, raise your standard of performance and give you the competitive environment you need to be ready to perform as a PRO.
The Pro Training
Camp Program is centered on developing productive professional punters,
kickers, and snappers. There are many talented athletes who cannot produce
the consistent results necessary to make a professional team. Their weakness
is their ability to perform ON COMMAND. This inability is centered on inconsistent
technical skills and inability to focus mentally on each repetition.
The Pro
Training Camp core teaching is the analysis of punting, kicking, and snapping
mechanics to hone skills for improved and consistent performance so that
the athlete will be able to perform ON COMMAND.
 |
High
level college punters and kickers go unchallenged throughout their
collegiate career as a result of their competency and do not develop
mental toughness. |
 |
Free
agent athletes need the competition and skill development to
increase their chances to make a pro football team.
|
Competitive drills and situations are designed to reveal the strengths and weaknesses of each athlete at each practice. Once these characteristics are identified a trained staff member will coach each athlete to improve their appropriate physical, mental, personal, and athletic skills. Attendance at the Pro Training Camp indicates a willingness to be scrutinized, critiqued, challenged and developed. |
 |

The focus is on teaching each athlete to demand the best performance from himself at ALL times.
 |
Each athlete will experience the mental and emotional challenge of a professional football training camp. |
 |
Each athlete can expect a technical skill challenge to promote increased mastery of the skill. |
 |
Each athlete will be instructed on his own particular needs for improvement. |
 |
Individual drills are prescribed for each athlete's specific weaknesses. |
 |
Lectures include practice habits, pre-game warm-up routines, mental training,
off-season workout procedures, technique adjustments etc. |
 |
Video analysis of each athlete are part of the program and will incorporate using the latest DARTFISH video technology. This allows side-by-side comparison of athletes, strobe effect analysis, digital freeze frame, and overlay of athlete technique. |
 |
Each athlete can expect competitive situations each practice to raise performance levels and develop mental toughness. |
Each athlete will experience the "perform or get cut" situation
that exists on a daily basis in a professional training camp. |
